“25 years ago,” said 48-year-old Lauren, “The show called Gilmore Girls premiered, apparently having a fall hostage season.”
Alexis, 43, continued, “In spite of the fall rule, Gilmore was actually a very small show,” Lauren jokingly said, “We don’t have the money.”
“If there was a birthday at the Drew Carry Show next door, they sent us the rest of the sheet cakes,” she shared. “We walked in a circle of Burbanks and said, ‘Hey, look at how Connecticut is today.” ”
And while Alexis joked that during the show’s seven seasons of run, the cast was “starved to be bullied,” Lauren said, “But one thing we had was the script.”
“A scary long script,” said Alexis. “So, with the info and joke spirit, here’s a candidate for outstanding writing for a comedy series.”
