How to make press-on nails last longer
If you’ve struggled with applying push-on nails in the past, these tips will help streamline the process and make your manicure last longer.
Step 1: Be sure to file your nails before applying. Avoid applying cuticle oil. Instead, use your nails. A cotton pad soaked in acetone. This step is the key to longevity.
Step 2: Next, apply a thin layer of glue, concentrating on the center of the nail (trust me, you’ll need less glue than you think). Press and hold for 20 seconds.
Step 3: If necessary, you can file or further cut the file to the desired shape and length. An additional layer of clear coat also helps keep it looking fresh.
