Adobe’s popular video editing app premiere will be available on iPhones starting today, following the company’s announcement that it plans to release the app on mobile earlier this month. The Android version of the app is currently under development, says Adobe.
The premier app for mobile is free to use and offers editing features such as multi-track timelines, including video, sound, music, text, and more. Support for 4K HDR editing. Auto-generated captions. The ability to adjust elements such as colors and shadows of various frames fits mobile screens.
If you capture a clip from a mobile device, there may be background noise. Easy to reduce noise and increase the dialogue via slider controls.
Adobe has added AI-powered features to its app. First, you can create a background sound based on the prompt. If you feel an adventurous spirit, you can play the sound with humming or singing. AI converts it into a sound effect.

Firefly models allow users to create images and stickers and turn the image into a video of transition shots. The app is free, but these AI features require you to purchase credits.
The company also offers access to its own stock library of photos, clips and sounds.
This new premier app allows creators to start projects on the go and transfer them to desktop apps across the platform using Adobe Cloud. However, at this time, you cannot send projects from your desktop to your mobile.

“We want to enhance the work of all types of creators. We know that the next generation of creators choose and prefer to edit on mobile. And that’s an important way (the new mobile app) can meet where they are.”
Premiere is involved in a range of apps the company brings to mobile, including Photoshop for iOS and Android and Firefly for Mobile.
With this launch, the company has established itself as a competitor of Bytedance’s Capcut, Meta edits, A16Z backed startup captions and India-based Invideo.
