Let the love fest between actors begin.
The 2026 Actors Awards (the only awards show where actors actually decide the winners) is just around the corner, taking place on Sunday, March 1st and broadcasting live on Netflix from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
This annual show, historically called the Screen Actors Guild Awards until recently renamed by the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, honors the year’s most moving and thought-provoking performances across film and television.
It’s no wonder, then, that acting powerhouses like Timothée Chalamet, Leonardo DiCaprio, Emma Stone, Michael B. Jordan, and Teyana Taylor are among the impressive list of names recognized for their work on the silver screen.
The TV talent is equally impressive. Nominated stars for the top Drama and Comedy TV award include Noah Wyle, Sterling K. Brown, Jenna Ortega, Martin Short, Claire Danes and Ted Danson, just to name a few.
It’s too early to know for sure who will go home with the acting trophy, but there’s no need to stress as the celebrity nominees prepare for the A-list event. That’s because third-time host Kristen Bell wants to focus on the positives as she celebrates everyone in attendance.
