Dolly Parton shares Kelly Clarkson’s heartfelt advice after Brandon Blackstock’s death
Dolly Parton presses pause on tasks 9-5.
The “Jolene” singer announced on September 28 that upcoming Las Vegas concerts should be postponed due to medical concerns.
“As many people know, I’ve dealt with some health challenges. My doctor says there are a few steps to do,” she shared on Instagram. “When I joked with them, it must be my 100,000-mile medical check-up time, but seeing my plastic surgeon is not a normal trip!”
As she prepares to take on unspecified businesses, the 79-year-old said she is promoting the dates for performances from December 2025 to September 2026.
“Seriously, with this in mind, I can’t rehearse and put together the shows you want to see and the shows you want to see,” Parton continued. “You pay good money to see me perform and I want to be my best for you. From here you can work on all the projects in Nashville, but as they say, it takes a little time to prepare the show. ”
