Listen, fam!
16 years ago, on September 23, 2009, Modern Family premiered at ABC. And after seeing the Dunphy-Pritchett-Tucker crew go through the ups and downs of life over 11 seasons, fans still enjoy catching up to major milestones in the camera’s cast.
For example, earlier this month, Eric Stonestreet not only turned 54, but also celebrated tying the knot with Lindsay Schweitzer.
“It’s my birthday and I’ll guess what I got,” the actor who played Cam Tucker on the sitcom wrote on Instagram on September 9th. “I’m married!”
Of course, his on-screen husband Jesse Tyler Ferguson was excited by the news.
“Our second marriage is my favorite!” commented the 49-year-old who portrayed Mitchell Prickett. “I love you both! I’m so happy for you!!!”
And their TV daughters are doing big things too. Her names, from Aubrey Anderson Emmons to Frances Anderson, will develop her career as a musician.
“Francis is actually part of my legal name,” the 18-year-old, who played Lily in modern-day family, explained to E! Last month’s news. “It’s my middle name and after a friend of my mother’s old family. Francis thought it was a little shorter than Aubrey Anderson Emmons. He has a long hyphen surname. But I wanted to switch that out.
