Cardi B is not for drama when it comes to her ex-offset.
More than a year after filing for divorce from the Migos rapper and ending her seven-year marriage, she is ready to leave the chapter in the rearview mirror.
“I’m so tired of people who associate me with someone from the past,” Cardi, 32, told Gale King in a September 18 interview on CBS morning. “I filed for divorce a year ago. It should be very clear. I won’t deal with it, I won’t ruin it, I won’t contact it.”
Cardi and Offset (real name Kiari cephus) are Kualture Kiari, 7, Wave Set, 3, and Blossom, 12 months old parents. And when it comes to getting their kids to co-parents, Cardi admits that she and the “motorsports” rapper haven’t reached that point yet.
“We should be able to raise a child,” Cardi is currently expecting a fourth baby. “We should be able to ask each other questions. ‘Look at what one of the kids just did. Look at this. Look at the report card.” We should be able to celebrate.
