Giorgio ArmaniThe founder of Armani, who launched the label of the same name in 1975, has passed away, the company confirmed in a statement on September 4th. He was 91 years old.
“In endless sadness, the Armani Group announces the death of Giorgio Armani, the creator, founder and tireless driving force,” the fashion brand said in a statement. “He was always called out with respect and respect from his employees and collaborators, and died peacefully surrounded by his loved ones.”
The company, which revolutionized pre-made couture, has “a void left by those who founded and raised this family with vision, passion and dedication.”
