The daughter of French soccer player Patrick Blondeau and actress-slash-presenter Veronica Louvry, Thylane Blondeau became interested in soccer from an early age.
But instead of taking to the pitch, the French native of Aix-en-Provence, who has a younger brother named Ayrton Romeo Blondeau, was walking in front of Jean Paul Gaultier and showing off her footwork on the runway at the age of four. By the age of five, she had earned the title “The Most Beautiful Girl in the World” by Vogue Enfants, a supplement to Vogue Paris that showcases luxury children’s fashion.
And soon, she was joining the roster of famous brands such as Hugo Boss, Dolce & Gabbana, Babylos, and L’Oréal.
Still, “when you’re little you don’t pay much attention,” she later explained to the Telegraph. “People say, ‘Look, you’re the most beautiful girl in the world,’ and you say, ‘No, I’m just playing with my iPad.'”
Still, after her first photoshoot, With photographer Dani Brubaker Even at age 7, she continued to hit shots.
And while some took issue with the then-10-year-old’s decidedly mature look for Vogue Paris (heels, lipstick, haute couture clothing), the industry certainly didn’t issue her a red card.
