Hayden Panettiere is in no hurry to introduce her daughter to Hollywood.
In fact, Kaya, Hayden’s daughter with ex-fiancé Wladimir Klitschko, has expressed interest in following in her mother’s footsteps, but Hayden is treading carefully.
“I started getting calls from 11-year-old kids saying they were interested in this industry,” Hayden said in an exclusive interview with E! News admits the outlook is a bit “nail-biting”.
After all, the Heroes alum’s own on-screen career began when she was 12 months old, so she knows firsthand the ups and downs that come with life in the spotlight.
“I always want to support Kaya in whatever she wants to do,” Hayden continued, “but I’m trying to guide her in that direction. You know, don’t rush into anything. Why not try some things and experience college life.”
The 36-year-old, who details her personal and professional life in her memoir This Is Me: A Reckoning, added: “She still has the ability to be private, but once you give that up, it doesn’t come back. Once you’re out there and you’re famous and you’re known, you can’t get your privacy back.”
