Manchester City manager Josep Guardiola will retire at the end of the season after 17 years at the EPL club.

Pep Guardiola will step down from Manchester City after 10 years in charge, bringing an end to one of the most successful spells in Premier League history, according to widespread reports.
His successor is expected to be former Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca, who led the Blues to victory in the FIFA Club World Cup last summer.

Guardiola, 55, will reportedly announce his departure immediately after the final match of the season against Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium, which will conclude a season that included winning both the League Cup and FA Cup trophies.
With Saturday’s FA Cup victory over Chelsea, Guardiola won his 20th trophy with the club.
Maresca, who left Chelsea four months ago, has been rumored for months to be the frontrunner to replace the Spaniard. Guardiola’s contract with City is due to expire in June 2027.
Guardiola dismissed questions about his future after the FA Cup final. When asked by TNT Sports about the rumors, Guardiola replied: “What rumors are there?” He ended the interview by saying, “I hope you have a wonderful night.”
Citi has not commented on this speculation.
However, the club are planning a parade through Manchester on Monday to celebrate this season’s League Cup and FA Cup wins, which could be a farewell to Guardiola.
To win this season’s Premier League, City need to win their final two games of the season, starting with Tuesday’s game against Bournemouth, and will hope Arsenal drop a point against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
