Katy Perry’s team has responded to Ruby Rose’s allegations.
After the Orange Is the New Black alum accused the “Roar” singer of sexually assaulting her, Perry’s rep denied the claims.
“The allegations that Ruby Rose has been circulating on social media about Katy Perry are not only completely false,” Perry’s rep told E! News April 13 “Those are dangerous and reckless lies.”
“Ms. Rose has a well-documented history of making serious allegations against various individuals on social media,” the statement continued, “and the allegations have been repeatedly denied by those named.”
Eh! The News has reached out to Rose’s team for comment, but has not yet received a response.
Rose made the claim after seeing a post about Perry’s reaction to Justin Bieber’s Coachella concert scheduled for April 11th. In the video, Perry joked that she was glad the “Baby” singer subscribed to YouTube Premium so the audience wouldn’t have to watch ads during her internet-based performance.
“I was sexually assaulted by Katy Perry at the Spice Market nightclub in Melbourne,” Rose, 40, wrote in a thread in response to the video. “Who cares what she thinks?”
