Days after the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star’s son passed away on February 23, she shared a heartbreaking tribute to the late 23-year-old.
Mary, who shares Robert Jr. and Robert Cosby Sr., captioned an old photo of the two on Instagram on February 28th, “#godfirst #love #forever.”
In the sweet snap that the Bravo star posted with Jessica Mauboy’s “Time After Time,” the mother-son duo can be seen smiling for the camera.
Robert Jr. was found dead on February 23 after officers “responded to a possible overdose,” a Salt Lake City Police Department spokesperson told E! news. The medical examiner is still investigating the cause of death.
Two days later, it was confirmed that 53-year-old Mary had passed away.
“Our beloved son Robert Jr. has been called to be with the Lord,” Mary said in a statement to TMZ on February 25th. “Our hearts are broken, but we are comforted by God’s promises and knowing that He is finally at peace. We are grateful for your prayers and for your trust in the Lord to carry us through this time of sadness.”
