In fact, Ben Simmons was courting Kendall, and the two met in the spring of 2018, making it a point to see each other whenever possible, even though the point guard is based in Philadelphia. (Ironically, in 2025, he’s a Clipper.)
According to a subsequent cover story, Kendall streamed a 76ers game during a photo shoot for Australian Vogue magazine in spring 2019, and FaceTimed the Melbourne native to show off her recent GQ Australia cover.
“For me, a lot of things are very special and very sacred, like my friends and my relationships. I personally think that making it public would make everything very awkward,” the model told Australian Vogue. “And I’m so young that I feel like relationships aren’t necessarily a sure thing right now.”
Although the two amicably parted ways on the first Monday of May in 2019, by the Met Gala, Kendall foresaw that her hectic schedule might cause too many difficulties.
She told Australian Vogue: “Everyone has their own path and their own way of dropping the cards. Your 20s are meant to be confusing and figuring that out.”
Meanwhile, the internet was sensing a pattern. A fan tweeted a meme in 2019 that read, “Starting 5 NBA players date Kendall Jenner,” showing off photos of Jordan, Ben, Blake, then-Lakers’ Kyle Kuzma, and journeyman D’Angelo Russell.
“This is a playoff team LOL,” a fan wrote.
And it was Kendall who made the dunk. She reposted, adding: “2 out of 5 was accurate, thank you.”
