The only players to completely defeat him were LeBron James (23 years and 59 days) and Kevin Durant (24 years and 33 days). Edwards is one of seven players to score 10,000 points by the age of 25, a group that also includes Kobe Bryant, Luka Doncic, Tracy McGrady and Carmelo Anthony.
“It’s cool to be honest, but I know there’s still a lot of work to do, so it’s really nothing,” Edwards said after the win. “I felt a little sick in front of Kobe. I should have waited about 100 days, but I’ll be fine.”
