Critics’ Choice Awards 2026: Michael B. Jordan reveals when he knew ‘Sinners’ was special
Michael B. Jordan knew he had won gold with the Sinners.
In fact, the actor, who also played twins Smoke and Stack in Ryan Coogler’s 2025 horror film, said there was a moment when he realized working on the film was a rare and special experience.
“I think this is one of those things where you come on set and you all work together and push each other,” he told Darin Karp in an exclusive interview with E! News at the 2026 Critics’ Choice Awards on Jan. 4 with castmates Delroy Lindo, Myles Caton, Francine Meiszler, Wunmi Mosaku, and Omar Benson Miller. “And it’s a family environment.”
For Michael, whose film won Best Casting and Ensemble, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Original Score, he hopes the magic lives on with audiences.
“I kind of know that I have something honest,” he explained. “And I hope it maintains traction long after the movie is over.”
