less than one one week later her husband james ranson died by suicide above December 19th age of 46, Jamie talks about how he’s coping with loss while raising his children jack6, and violet,4.
“They wanted to have ice cream after the park,” she posted. Instagram December 23rddescribed how she took them to a local shopping mall. “Violet chose a pink backpack. Jack had me buy things at the Lego store and make them.”
Jamie continued: “For the first time in my life, I could clearly see people recognizing me. I heard someone behind me say ‘ask her’ in the food court.”
The mother of two said she was grateful strangers had not approached her about James’ death, but said the experience had made her realize “you never know what people are going through.”
“For many moments we seemed happy, normal, laughing and smiling,” she wrote. “Why not? It’s not because we aren’t grieving. We are grieving. But I have two beautiful, wonderful children that force me to see *every day* all the love and all the light that still exists within this.”
