Why Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara started taking Munjaro
The singer was more than happy with the boom boom that all boys chase, but after welcoming her first son Riley in February 2021, she and husband Daryl Sabara embarked on a health journey.
Passionate about making sure every inch is perfect from bottom to top, “We went 75 hard,” she elaborated on an April 2025 episode of her podcast Workin’ On It, name-checking her rigorous 75-day program, “and we smashed.”
But since his youngest son Barry joined the party in July 2023, Trainor continued, “I’ve heard that more and more friends and even doctors are joining Munjaro and Ozempic.”
And after doing thorough research, the couple decided to give it a try and chose Munjaro, which they felt had “less side effects.”
Starting their journey together, they combined a balanced diet with plenty of sweat sessions at the lowest possible doses. “We thought, ‘We’ve worked hard for years to build muscle, so we need to make sure we don’t lose it,'” she added. “And we go to the gym, we work out, we eat right, and I just realized I’m not hungry.”
Lately, she’s noticed that she looks good in Versace dresses. “It feels great,” the trainer elaborated. “This is incredible, and I’m not embarrassed to be a part of this and talk about it.”
