Once upon a time, Snow White and Prince Charming put children in the spotlight.
For nine years, Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas kept their sons Oliver, 11, and Hugo, 9, largely out of the public eye. But on Nov. 13, the Once Upon a Time couple allowed their children to make their red carpet debut at the premiere of Disney’s Zootopia 2, in which their mother plays lead character Judy Hopps.
“We’ve never sent our kids to Hollywood,” the actress exclusively told E! Red carpet news. “We are very private and show their faces on social media.”
So Ginnifer and Josh, who married in 2014, set important ground rules for their sons. “We explained to them that we would no longer be posting about them and they were not allowed to Google them themselves,” the Big Love alum said. “And they say that, but their friends will, and I’m like, ‘That’s fine. We’re not their parents.'”
The two sons persuaded Ginnifer and Josh to attend the movie premiere.
“We were like, ‘That’s it,'” she explained, adding, “This is about family for us, Zootopia.”
