Randall Cobb has reached his limit.
The retired NFL star made the shocking decision to quit Season 4 of Fox’s “Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test” just 12 hours before training camp ended.
So what was it that caused the former soccer player to suddenly walk away as he neared the goal line?
On the eighth and final day of the grueling competition, the remaining six recruits participated in a wartime simulation where they were divided into two teams of three and had to work together to find a hideout in the Moroccan desert while avoiding capture from a fake enemy. And if navigating the harsh and desolate terrain was difficult enough, a safe path had to be found in the pitch black night.
After sailing about three miles of course, Andrew East led Randall and Gia Judith into enemy territory, making them vulnerable targets. And Randall was especially nervous during a nerve-wracking mock special forces mission.
As the 35-year-old admitted in a confessional, “I’m worried about freezing up in a situation I’ve never been in before.”
