Chanel West Coast is incredulous about the end of “Ridiculousness.”
Days after MTV canceled the Rob Dyrdek-hosted Clips show, the TV personality, who was a panelist on the series from 2011 to 2023, shared her thoughts on its ending.
“It’s sad. It’s the end of an era,” she said in an interview with TMZ published on Nov. 4. “I really felt like the world needed a show like that right now. It makes people laugh, it makes people happy, and that’s what we need more of. It couldn’t have been a better time for a show like that to go away.”
However, the 37-year-old (real name Chelsea Chanel Dudley) admitted that the DNA of the show had changed following her exit.
“I don’t want to say I was shocked,” she says. “Since I left the show, things have been a little different.”
Chanel, who is mother to 3-year-old daughter Bowie Breeze with boyfriend Dom Fenison, said goodbye to the show after appearing for 30 seasons alongside Rob and Sterling “Steelo” Brim, choosing to pursue independent projects. After leaving the band, she appeared in the MTV documentary series The West Coast Hustle in 2024 and is currently working on several new projects.
