This is not Audrey Eckert’s first honor.
Six months before Eckert was crowned Miss USA 2025, she was crowned Miss Nebraska. This was my dream since I was nine years old.
“04/06/25 – A day I will never forget,” she wrote on Instagram after winning the state title. “Dreams really do come true.”
Eckert, who has been competing since she was a child, was crowned Miss Nebraska Preteen in 2015, Miss Nebraska Junior Teen in 2017, Miss Princess of America Sweetheart in 2018, Miss Nebraska Teen USA in 2020, and placed in the top five at Miss Teen USA.
She works in social media.
Eckert was hired as the social media and marketing coordinator for the brand Sapan. She says the brand is “a Thai handbag brand with a strong human rights mission.”
But social media isn’t her only job. Creating safer online spaces is also one of her passions.
“My impact with Digital Safety started with working directly with kids on a weekly basis,” she wrote in an Instagram post in October. “We found that many of those who arrived felt anxious, withdrawn, and even fearful, and it wasn’t always clear why. Cyberbullying, predators in the DMs, and rumors spreading behind the screens were all too common. Almost half of teens have experienced cyberbullying, and one in five children has encountered predatory behavior online. Social We don’t need the media to steal our confidence. Together, we are empowering a generation to thrive online, safely and confidently.”
