Emily may have left Paris, but it looks like Lucas Bravo is still there.
The first full episode of Emily in Paris Season 5 has been released, offering a glimpse of how the title character (Lily Collins) settles into her new life in Rome, but Lucas’ character Gabriel (Emily’s (Lily Collins) on-and-off love interest in the first four seasons) is noticeably absent.
But what will that mean for his fate when the series resumes on December 18th?
“I would love to tell you something,” Lucas told E! He broke the news in an exclusive interview before deciding to keep what he knew about the upcoming season a secret. “I like the fact that I’m not in the trailer. And it creates a conversation. I’m going to continue the conversation. I’m not saying anything.”
In fact, the 37-year-old previously caused controversy by saying he doubted he would return for Season 5 because playing Gabriel was “not fun”, but he would neither confirm nor deny whether his absence from the trailer meant he was leaving the role permanently.
“I don’t know,” he said jokingly, adding sheepishly, “I’m not into it.”
