When Busta included images of all his children in his 2024 “Legacy” video, fans rarely got a glimpse of his son, Sakario Smith.
Busta cried out his youngest in June 2022, “My young king Sakario I love you so much! He has attended several events since then, but missed the brothers’ reunion at the 2023 BET Awards.
And Busta focused on business when his kids were young, but especially since he paid child support, he doesn’t think it would be impossible to have time with them now without the time he spent on his craft.
“I am now in my life, I am somewhere else in my life then,” he explained in his CEO’s diary in 2023.
And Busta will advise one of his children that the key to success is to be “selfish as hell” about their passions.
“Find it, love it, identify with what you love, pursue it until you become one with it and get caught up in it. You don’t know anything else,” he said. “Look at your goal.”
