Completing the New York City Marathon is no easy feat. But Bachelor Nation’s “It Girl” Tayshia Adams has it down to a science.
That’s no surprise, considering she just completed the New York City Marathon for the third year in a row. And she shared with E! All the tips, tricks, and essentials that helped her cross the finish line.
On marathon mornings, Tayshia adds Vital Protein Collagen to her coffee (jennifer aniston (I’m also a fan), I slip on my favorite Lululemon running shorts and lace up my tried-and-true Brooks sneakers, which I’ve worn for the past three marathons.
Once you cross the finish line, it’s time to relax. “For recovery, I definitely mix a little bit of high-tech and good old-fashioned,” she said. This means she does everything from foam rolling and Epsom salt baths to massaging sore spots with a TheraGun.
But her biggest tip is about mindset. “My biggest tip is to just laugh through the nerves! I have to enjoy it and remind myself that it’s actually not that serious, and that shift in energy changes everything for me,” she declared.
